The website features full product information displaying which vehicle brand and models are catered for, as well as a user-friendly enquiry mechanism allowing a user to enquire about all products available for their specific vehicle brand and model. The website also contains information about the company and the fabrics they use, and features a store locator, downloadable fitting instructions and a contact us page. The website is driven by an advanced Content Management System allowing an administrator to manage brands, models, stores and enquiries.
WorksheetCloud is an online web application platform that provides printable school worksheets to learners, parents and schools. The worksheets are based on the South African CAPS curriculum and include the following subjects: English, Afrikaans, Mathematics, and Natural Science. Parents sign up and create learner accounts associated to a chosen grade and language (English or Afrikaans). WorksheetCloud keeps track of what worksheets have been viewed, printed and completed. The platform provides really good content that can be accessed on any device, and you’ll never need to set another practise test for your child, ever!

The website features a database-driven product filter and search mechanism allowing users to find products suited to their needs. The site includes a Google map based store locator, a blog, media and testimonial pages, and a contact us lead generation form. The site is driven by a custom-built CMS allowing an administrator to manage content including product categories and characteristics, products, blog entries, testimonials and leads. An integrated reference system allows the content manager to drop clinical references to content across the site.
Forexchange is the foreign exchange market leader in Italy with a branch network of 67 bureaux de change, and has a significant presence in the Czech Republic with 9 branches. Forexchange currently operate three bureaux de change at Cardiff Airport and are looking forward to the expansion of our network to other airports throughout the UK.

The responsive site showcases the agency’s portfolio of work and reflects the focus on providing clients with powerful, creative solutions to today’s complex marketing and communication challenges.
Shuuga is a geolocation based mobile advertising platform that connects users with their favourite brands and stores. Users download the free Shuuga iPhone or Android app, add retailers or retail categories to their favourites, and receive freebies and promotions immediately via push notifications. Users can search for promotions and sales nearby, or setup the application to alert them when their favourite brands or products are on promotion. Merchants sign up to Shuuga, create their stores and populate them with advertisements. The Shuuga platform pushes relevant advertisement notifications to the user, or the ads are returned when geolocation user searches are performed.
Skipjack designed and developed the API that drives both iPhone and Android applications, developed custom CMS tools for Merchants to manage their stores and advertisements, and HTML authored the marketing website. The website show cases Ardmore as a business, the ceramic art produced by Ardmore, and the skilled artists that create the ceramic master pieces. Skipjack developed an advanced, custom-built CMS allowing the client to fully manage the website content including artists, artist categories, partners, media releases, news and events, product categories and products, subscribers, retailers, and content blocks across the site. The site layout and style was designed by resources within Ardmore, providing an elegant and minimalistic look and feel. Skipjack authored the site using XHML, CSS2 and jQuery technologies, and integrated the CMS using PHP Smarty Template Engine technologies.
The COTS Parts Database in an internal web application developed for the SALT organisation to administer their part inventory across the telescopes they manage. The Southern African Large Telescope (SALT) is the largest single optical telescope in the southern hemisphere and among the largest in the world. COTS administrators can manage user access, parts, manufactures and work breakdown structures, as well as multiple file uploads associated with parts. The web application is responsive and built using the Twitter Boostrap framework.
Skipjack extended the original Canonfeatures.ca website to allow Canadian retailers Costco and Henrys to display a subset of the product catalogue based on the products they stock, in essence creating an individual site for each retailer. The product pages include links to the retailer's online store, thus pushing potential customers into their online stores.
The website product catalogue is controlled by a state of the art CMS, allowing retailers to toggle their products and product categories; their website then dynamically transforms based on their selection. The Retailer development was an addition to the original site developed by Skipjack.
Lobster Ink is an online hospitality education system that trains staff and management across 40 countries and 80 nationalities around the world. Course material includes Bar, Wine, Spirits, Service, Housekeeping, Guiding and International Standards. The education platform is simple yet powerful, and contains detailed high-definition video lessons and online assessment tools.
The Lobster Ink system allows any number of establishments (and their students) to sign up for specific courses. The platform comprises student and manager portals. The student portal allows students to view content, write and review assessments, and monitors their results and progress through the curriculum assigned to them. The manager portal focuses on providing the information on how their students are performing and reporting, which students are excelling and in which areas students are having problems. The platform is managed via a backend allowing Lobster Ink administrators to manage groups, establishments, students, documents, and course material (courses, levels, subjects, questions).
Skipjack also developed The World Masterclass of Whisky for the Let's Sell Lobster Group, a similar education system where members can learn about Whisky and write assessments defined by a course structure.

www.applebeescanada.com is the official website of the Applebee’s Canada restaurant group, one of the largest casual dining chains in the world. The site features database-driven restaurant menus and information pages for all the Canadian franchises, a Where2GetIt location finder component, and forms for general enquiries, careers, and newsletter subscriptions. Skipjack developed a content management system to allow the client to manage restaurant information pages, newsletter subscriptions and form submissions.
The website is constantly changed as Applebee’s campaigns are run throughout the year. Recently Skipjack developed scripts to import the franchise menus from a XML file which is updated quarterly. We also integrated a gift card service provided by Transaction Wireless - The Wireless Gift card.
The World Masterclass of Whisky is the world's finest and most comprehensive whisky course - with detailed lessons, high-definition videos of over 50 of the world's leading distilleries, over 100 tasting note videos and cutting edge online assessments. Members view videos that have been structured into a course of 5 levels, then write assessments on the specific level and subject to progress through the curriculum. The system contains video and assessment dashboards, allowing the user to keep track of what videos they have watched and what assessments they have completed, along with their results.

The Alcolin website showcases the DIY and Industrial product ranges of Alcolin. The site features a categorised product catalogue with 3-tier navigation and search functionality, a news section, and a series of about us and contacts us pages. Skipjack, in collaboration with The BrainStormGroup , developed a Facebook contest application platform which can be easily integrated into any client's Facebook page. The concept is that a user must first “Like” the client's page before they can enter the competition. The competition forms include validation, to ensure users enter required fields correctly. The competition entries are stored in a MySQL database and entry information is accessible via a backend administration console, which contains analytics dashboards and functionality to randomly select the competition winners. The contest platform integrates into the core Facebook experience, making use of the Graph API and Platform Dialogs.

The website provides currency conversion tools, forms to order foreign currency, and information of all branches, categorized into countries and locations. The multi-lingual site is available in 8 languages. Automated scripts that are run periodically obtain exchange rate data from XE.com, the world's favourite currency site. An advanced CMS allows the client to manage foreign currency orders, countries, locations and branches.

Go Ontario! Bar is a mini site promoting granola health bars created by Taste of Nature in Ontario, Canada. The site contains information about the product, its story, why you should buy local, and information about Taste of Nature.
Canonfeatures.ca is a website showcasing the features available across Canon photographic, video and printer products. Skipjack collaborated with The Brainstorm Group and Andries Odendaal, an independent Cape Town based new media guru and developer. The site is available in English and French, and features database-driven, interactive flash menus, which drill down into feature pages. Feature blocks have flash-based product strips indicating which products features apply to.
Since the website's launch, the content has been refreshed on a bi-annual basis, and additional modules have been developed like lead generation forms, Canon Features Retailer product catalogues, and high performance technologies have been implemented. Skipjack no longer work on this project as Canon has moved to another design agency for strategic reasons.
The International Budget Partnership (IBP) Game is an online, scenario based learning game designed by Formula-D for the International Budget Partnership, where players travel to the imaginary country of Polarus. The user takes on the role of an intern working for SeDeN, a budget advocacy organisation. The task is to investigate whether public resources are being used to fight poverty and improve the lives of poor and marginalised people. Users explore development problems, find out how government budgets affect developments and learn how to build successful strategies for change.
Skipjack developed an API using amfPHP and MySQL technologies, which allows new players to register and login, and keeps track of player accomplishments and scores as they progress through the game. A custom-built CMS allows administrators to manage users and generate reports.
Skipjack collaborated with knnktr (previously known as R3) to develop the Aperitivo Peroni website. Aperitivo Peroni promotes the Aperitivo competition and contains information about Aperitivo, the events and dates, recipes and the chefs involved. The site contains an age screener and a registration form with validation that users can submit if they wish to be kept up to date.
The Next 36 is Canada’s entrepreneurial leadership institute where an international faculty and Canadian business leaders lead an academic boot camp for entrepreneurs. Skipjack collaborated with The Brainstorm Group to develop next36.ca, which provides users with information about the program, who is involved, news, videos, testimonials and photo galleries. The core functionality of the website is to facilitate the program application process of candidates, which allows selected referrees to participate in the actual process. The site is managed by a backend allowing administrators to manage applications and site content.
Skipjack were instrumental in developing the first version of the BrandsRock website. Since it's launch it has been re-developed by another company for strategic reasons. The website showcases the portfolio of clients and work that BrandsRock engage in, as well as information about BrandsRock. The homepage contained an interactive jQuery-based mp3 player and integrated video components. Users can subscribe to the BrandsRock newsletter by completing a fully validated subscription form.
Cowey’s Corner is a beautifully restored spacious guest house situated in Durban’s popular suburb of Berea. The website provides information on rooms and rates, contains photo galleries, has an integrated Google map, and offers information on activities in and around Durban. A NightsBridge module has been integrated into the site that allows users to check room availability and perform real-time booking. The site contains integrated Google maps to show users directions, includes the Facebook Like social plugin, and is integrated with TripAdvisor.
The Hire Immigrants Roadmap syndication is an extension of the previously developed hireimmigrants.ca website and Flash Roadmap application. The aim was to increase the footprint of the Roadmap application by developing an HTML version that uses the same database content and that could be syndicated into any other site - click here for an example. A module was developed to allow the syndicators to specify a font size and colour, as well as disabling images within the syndicated roadmap for accessibility.
Skipjack developed backend functionality for the @home touch screen application developed by Wireframe Studio. The application show cases the electric appliances available in @home stores, allowing a user to search and compare products. The user can then email or SMS himself/herself the details about a selected product. A custom-built CMS allows adminsitrators to manage categories and products.
Skipjack, in collaboration with COMPRESS.dsl developed the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (IJR) website. The design and content of the site focus on providing the user with information about the IJR, news and events, publication, and programmes. The website is not driven by a content management system but is rather updated by a set of static Smarty template files. The site includes an integrated Google search factility and interactive maps.
hireimmigrants.ca in the online portal that provides Canadian businesses with the tools and resources needed to better recruit, retain and promote skilled immigrants. The website assists decision makers and business leaders who drive Canada's economy - to source, select, develop and welcome skilled immigrants as creative contributors to their workforce. Features of the website include: a talent pool and success story database, RSS feed, and an online registration. Skipjack assisted in integrating a new look and feel into the existing website and content management system. A second phase development is underway to build a French version of the portal.
