The Brainstorm Group and Andries Odendaal, an independent Cape Town based new media developer and guru. The site is bi-lingual (English and French) and features interactive flash elements and a HTML (non-flash) version of the site.
IBP game website

The IBP - game is an online learning game designed for the International Budget Partnership. In the scenario based learning game, players travel to the imaginary country of Polarus. The user takes on the role of an intern working for SeDeN, a budget advocacy organisation. The task is to investigate whether public resources are being used to fight poverty and improve the lives of poor and marginalised people. Users explore development problems, find out how government budgets affect developments and learn how to build successful strategies for change. Skipjack assisted
Formula-D with functionality to keep track of a user's state within the game by using a MySQL database and AMFPHP.
Aperitivo Peroni minisite

R3 to develop the Aperitivo Peroni minisite. The minisite promotes the aperitivo competition and contains information about aperitivo, the events and dates, recipes and the chefs involved. The site contains an age screener and a registration form that users can submit if they wish to be kept up to date.

The Brainstorm Group to develop next36.ca, which provides users with information about the program, who is involved, news, videos, testimonials and contains photo galleries. The core functionality of the website is to facilitate the program application process of candidates, which allows selected referees to participate in the actual process. The site is managed by a backend allowing administrators to manage applications and site content.
Whisky Live Festival website

Skipjack collaborated with
BrandsRock to develop the Whisky Live Festival website. The aim of the site is to give the festival an online presence, providing users with information about the festival. The website includes a Whisky Lover’s club area, a calendar of events and a whisky finder module allowing users to search an extensive whisky database. The website is driven by a backend allowing administrators to manage content, news, events, polls, competitions, brands and whiskies. The system further allows brands to manage their own company content and whisky information.
BrandsRock website

Skipjack were instrumental in developing the first version of the BrandsRock website (in the interim it has been re-developed by another development house). The aim of the website was to showcase the portfolio of clients and work that BrandsRock engages in, as well as display information about BrandsRock. The homepage contained an interactive jQuery-based mp3 player and integrated video components.
Coweys Corner website

Cowey’s Corner is a beautifully restored spacious guest house situated in Durban’s popular suburb of Berea. The website provides information on rooms and rates, contains photo galleries, has an integrated Google map, and offers information on activities in and around Durban.
Hire immigrants roadmap syndication

The hire immigrants roadmap syndication is an extension of the previously developed hireimmigrants.ca website and flash roadmap application. The aim was to increase the footprint of the roadmap application by developing an HTML version that could be syndicated into any other site (for a syndicated example in action
click here). A module was developed to allow the syndicators to specify a font size and color, as well as disabling images within the syndicated roadmap.

Veeva is a Canadian based stress relief product and a mood enhancing formula that helps people deal with the daily stresses and pressures of real life. The website is bi-lingual (English and French) and provides users with detailed product information, as well as allowing users to purchase capsules online via an integrated E-Commerce system. The website is driven by an advanced backend system allowing an administrator to manage users, orders, item costs and discounts, news items and store locations.
IJR website

Skipjack in conjunction with
COMPRESS.dsl developed the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (IJR) website. The design and content of the site focus on providing the user with information about the IJR, news and events, publication, and programmes. The is not database driven but is rather updated by a set of Smarty template files. The site includes an integrated Google search factility and interactive maps.
Alcolin website

The Alcolin.com website aims to showcase the DIY and Industrial product ranges of Alcolin. The site features a categorised product catalogue with search functionality, a news section, and a series of about us and contact us pages. All information on the site is managed by the client by a backend administration console.
